摘要： 明代张景岳在《类经》中提出“情志九气”,后“情志”一词在中医学中获得广泛运用。这一术语虽有被译作“emotion”的先例,却不如心理学和生理学术语“情绪”译为emotion有据可查。文章欲通过“情志”与“情绪”二词比较,为“情志”英译提供支撑之据。

Abstract: In the Ming dynasty, Zhang Jingyue put forward the term “Qing Zhi Jiu Qi” in Lei Jing, and soon the word “qingzhi” has been used widely in traditional Chinese medicine since then. Although “qingzhi” had been translated as “emotion” before as a term of TCM, not like what “qingxu” did in psychology and physiology. This paper aims to provide support evidence for modern translation by comparison between “qingzhi” and “qingxu”.
